MISSION STATEMENT

The Elkins-Randolph County Public Library is a public institution dedicated to providing equal, uncensored access to information in a variety of formats to serve the educational, recreational, cultural and informational needs of its citizens. We strive to provide modern library resources and services necessary to satisfy the evolving informational needs of the community, enhance the quality of life and to ensure that the residents are given opportunities for equal access to information and educational opportunities.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING OUR E-BOOKS.   CLICK ON THE LINK ON THE HOME PAGE.  THEN CLICK SIGN IN.  ONCE YOU HAVE DONE THIS YOU WILL SEE A DROP DOWN BOX  LABELED LIBRARY.  CLICK THE DROP DOWN BOX AND CHOOSE UPSHUR COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY.  THEN YOU MUST ENTER YOUR LIBRARY CARD NUMBER.  ONCE YOU HAVE ENTERED YOUR CARD NUMBER YOU WILL GET ANOTHER SCREEN.  YOU NEED TO CHOOSE MY HELP IN BLUE ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE OF THIS WINDOW.  THERE YOU CAN DOWNLOAD WHAT YOU NEED IN ORDER TO USE THE E-BOOKS OR OTHER MATERIALS. THEN YOU CAN USE THE SEARCH BOX TO SEARCH FOR ITEMS OF INTEREST BY TITLE, AUTHOR OR SUBJECT OR YOU CAN BROWSE THE COLLECTIONS ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE SCREEN.  YOU MUST PULL THE SCREEN DOWN IN ORDER TO SEE THIS DEPENDING ON THE SIZE OF YOUR MONITOR.            Home
