What We Do

Annual Spring Book Sale: May 10-12, Library Meeting Room

Our  Annual Booksale, planned for May of each year  takes place at the Elkins-Randolph County Public Library.  This event is our major fundraiser and allows us to support the library's mission throughout the year.  Help is appreciated in the form of staffing, setup, teardown and of course, book donations.

Meetings are open to the public and held at the Elkins-Randolph County Public Library once per month, more when necessary.

The Elkins Bookhounds are a registered Friends of the Library organization.  Our Mission is to be a group of citizens who promote understanding of the library, its programs, its resources and its needs.  Meeting monthly, we gather to support the Elkins-Randolph County Public Library in its goals, providing volunteer assistance, books, materials and financial help when needed.
